Description:

It's summer on the Danube river. The music is loud, the cars are fancy, the girls are tanned. Beautiful and exuberant Veli runs away from home. Handsome Luca falls in love with her. This is no fairytale romance. Luca, a 20-year-old boy from a Romanian village, makes girls fall in love with him in order to lure them into prostitution networks in a town nearby. In the language of the police he is a loverboy. Director's statement: "A love story that is so intense that you feel like you need to destroy it. And the more this need grows, the stronger the relationship becomes".

Reżyser: Cãtãlin Mitulescu

Born in 1972 in Bucharest. He studied film directing at the UNATC in Bucharest and has made television commercials, music videos, and several short films. His short film 'Trafic' won the Palme d'Or at Cannes in 2004. His first feature film 'The Way I Spent the End of the World' was presented at the WFF in 2006. In 2004, he founded the film production company Strada Film, which has grown to be one of the leading production companies on the Romanian film market.

The Argentine interior in 1983. After years of bloody dictatorship, the country is preparing to return to democracy. But the population is not accustomed to voting. It has no idea of how you choose who will rule. In the provincial town of Cerro Colorado, the man running for mayor is murdered. As an act of vengeance, the man's finger will be kept in a jar. Standing on a shop counter, it gains a life of its own. It will serve as an excuse to solve a murder, renew the faith of the sceptics, and relive love stories in Cerro Colorado.
