We invite seniors to a special cycle of free film screenings BOOM Generation, accompanied by workshops and discussions. The screenings will take place at the “Pod Pelikanem” hall, 62 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street (Caritas Archdiocese of Warsaw).
Imagine a film night where even the journey to the screening room takes your breath away. This October, as part of the 41st Warsaw International Film Festival, we will for the first time invite audiences to Cinema in the Clouds on the 46th floor of Varso Tower (69 Chmielna Street), the tallest building in the European Union.
The Warsaw Film Festival is expanding with a new competition section – Encounters, which will debut during the 41st edition of the event. Returning to the roots of the legendary film showcase from the communist era, out of which the Warsaw Film Week and later the Warsaw Film Festival were born, this new edition of Confrontations will once again invite audiences to discover the most important and talked-about films of world cinema.
A fresh visual identity, new ideas, a new team, and even more excitement – the Warsaw International Film Festival is back in grand style! From October 10–19, 2025, the capital of Poland will once again become the center of world cinema. The 41st edition of WFF marks the beginning of a new decade and the opening of a new chapter in the history of one of Europe’s most respected film festivals.
