The protagonists live in a northern port town in France. They are used to violence, but are also strongly influenced by the love they feel for each other. They know that love can strike anywhere, anytime: in a port container, at a supermarket cash register, behind the sliding glass door of a suburban home, on the stage of an amateur theatre, or on a dancehall floor. They have to learn to make choices, and how to cope with envy, love and tenderness. After all, these are the driving forces that help them to be themselves and give meaning to their lives. Full of absurd humour, a film about the search for love. A tribute to poetry, theatre and art.
